Grace, manifestation of God’s love for us

The grace of God is related to the way He perceives us. Jesus looks on each of us with love and we are all unique in His eyes. We must also see ourselves as Jesus sees us, beginning with forgiving ourselves.

Grace is a manifestation of God’s love for us and in us; and through us for others.

If love is the law of the Kingdom of God, divine grace is its mode of operation. Grace is love in action.

The grace of God is found at the Cross of Christ

God’s grace is found in one place only: at the Cross of Jesus Christ. And it is through the Cross that it will reach all men.

Divine grace:

Cannot be refused because of a feeling of unworthiness;

Finds all its glory in the weakness of men;

Cannot be undone by human weakness or impotence;

Is never granted on the basis of a man’s merits;

Cannot be undone by sin whatever its gravity;

Makes possible what is humanly impossible.
